Celebrating six decades of grit and brotherhood, the University of Iowa Men’s Rugby Club marks its 60th Anniversary in 2026. From our first scrum in 1966 to the present day, the Iowa Rugby Foundation remains dedicated to honoring our alumni and fueling the next generation of Hawkeyes. The University of Iowa Rugby Club was founded in 1966 and is one of the oldest college rugby clubs in the Midwest. The Iowa Rugby Foundation has been established to help financially support the rugby club in a rapidly changing collegiate rugby landscape.
