The Iowa Rugby Men’s Team capped off an extraordinary Fall 2025 season, demonstrating their dominance in the conference and earning significant regional recognition. The Hawkeyes finished their conference schedule with an impressive 9-1 record, a testament to their skill, teamwork, and commitment throughout the season.

A Season of Success

The team's near-perfect run showcased their caliber against conference rivals. Their only conference setback came in a hard-fought conference finals match, where they ultimately dropped the contest to Iowa State. Despite the finals loss, the 9-1 regular season record solidifies the Hawkeyes as one of the elite programs in the Heart of America conference.

Five Hawkeyes Earn Heart of America Selects Honors

The team's outstanding performance was further highlighted by the selection of five exceptional players to the prestigious Heart of America Selects team (HOARFU). This honor recognizes the top talent across the entire conference and provides the selected athletes with an opportunity to compete at a higher representative level.
